I tried the frozen hard drive trick myself, and what a joke! When I did finally send it to a data recovery place, they told me I could have probably recovered it, but that the condensation from the freezer on the platters MADE THE DRIVE USELESS!

I was so pissed! So for all those trying to save a buck, don’t! It doesn’t work!!!
