Reported by Chinese tech website PCPOP, Foxconn is building WPAI version iPhone for China Unicom. WAPI iPhone is assembling in Foxconn’s factories with a codename N88. It’s also mentioned that the 4th generation iPhone’s codename is N90. WAPI is a Chinese National Standard for Wireless, which is also compatible to the worldwide used standard Wi-Fi. [...]
