Chinese Young man picks rubbish with mouth to appeal people care about environment
In the past thirty years China has been known as “The World’s Factory”, which has caused serious pollution to China’s environment.Big cities like Beijing, Guangzhou have been said to be no more fit for human’s living. At the meantime, many Chinese still don’t have a good habit to keep the environment where they set foot clean, and just throw litter anywhere they want.For this reason, a small group of Chinese young men have took their actions to appeal people stop such behaviors in some cities like Shenzhen and Guangzhou, but what they did seems a bit weird.
In the video below, Kang Yi, the organizer of the group, picked up litter with mouth in Guangzhou. And his companies all carried a box with words reading “Flesh Dustbin” to let him drop what picked. After cleaning up the litter around him, he even kneed down before a mid-age female street sweeper to thank her hard working on environment and gave her about 38 Yuan (about $6 dollars) they collected from the public. The sweeper said she would used the money to buy some soft drink to share with her colleague, for “I’m not the only one working hard on environment”.
As always, Internet users that participated in discussions about Kang Yi and his friends’ behaviors were divided into two groups by different opinions. Some said what they done is just public stunt, trying to raise fame as other Internet celebrities have done, while the other people said what they done is pretty impressed and could have a great positive effect on environment protection.
