Hanvon rebrands Spring Design Alex dual dispay e-reader and asks for more mony
Hanvon rencently launched a dual display ebook reader which is called T61. If you have followed ebook reader industry news, you would feel it look familiar. Because it’s just a rebranded model of Spring Design’s Alex. It’s not a complete rebranding. The ’Alex’ logo was on the front side along with Hanvon’s Chinese logo. The specs seems unchanged, 6 inches E-ink 800×600 panel, and a 3.5 inches 320×480 color touchscreen, 256MB RAM, 2GB storage, and Android OS. Hanvon in China were complaint by consumers for selling ebook readers too expensive. If only take this T61 for example, we can’t agree more. On Spring Design’s official website, Alex was sold at $399 USD, but Hanvon asks for 3580 Yuan (about $526 USD ) in China.
