Chinese portable media player manufactures like Newsmy and Teclast have brought their ebook reader products, now Gemei is going to join this group, by announcing its first ebook reader GM2000. GM2000 has no E-ink, but gets a colorful LCD for display ebooks. Color ebook readers have disadvantages that doesn’t suit for long time reading, but is more friendly to today’s electronic reading materials which are not only white and black like transitional physical books , and they are also much cheaper at price. GM2000 only gets four buttons, but for your convenience it supports pen writing and allows you to take notes on ebooks with handwriting, which sounds really great. It’s said It would be able to play videos like a PMP. Information about price and availability is still not disclosed.
