Apad gets Android 2.1

Of curse all iPad clones look similar to each other, but this one with a 7 inches display might be more familiar. Several weeks ago we introduced an iPad clone that’s also called Apad. If you can’t remember, then check it out, you would find they look the same. In fact, they eventually share the same design, but they’re different, from hardware to software. The former one is powered by Rockchip PK2808, and like most other iPad clones it only runs Android 1.5. This one is better, powered by a 720MHz Telechips 8902 chip that’s based on ARM11, and runs Android 2.1. But unfortunately it still just a prototype and the product when to arrive at the market is still unsure.

Not good enough. The RAM size limits its performance.
