Samsung i5500 haven’t been out to meet consumers yet, but people behind Androidin.com have been already able to put their hands on this Android handset, and put all things together in a video. The back of phone has the China Unicom’s name and its WCDMA service logo, so obviously this phone will come to China Unicom when available in China. Apparently the phone they have is just a prototype. Android market was not found, but a Facebook app is surprisingly listed on the screen . Known to world, facebook was blocked in China a thousand years ago…
According to the information published before, Samsung i5500 has a 600Mhz processor, with a 2.8-inch 320*240 capacitive screen, but it’s said the one caught in the video is resistive. The phone runs Android 2.1 and the speed is quite fast as an entry level phone.
