Touch T4233 Windows Mobile based on a MTK MT6516 chip
The Hisilicon K3 platform now is dominating Shanzhai smartphone reference solution market in China, but MTK company, called as the King of Shanzhai in China, is still trying to steal some share with its newly launched MT6516 chip that has everything already to support Windows Mobile, and the phone Touch T4233 we want to introduce in this post is powered by this chip. It runs Windows Mobile 6.5, packing a 2.8 inches 240*320 display, 128 MB RAM, 256MB ROM, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual sim support. The phone doesn’t obviously clones which phone, but the ‘HTC’ above the display is enough to give it the label of Shanzhai. The wholesale price is 1099 Yuan (about $161 USD).
