Rockchip shows new Android prototype MID that runs Android 2.1
We all know Rockchip RK2808 powered devices, like RAmos W7 MID, OPPO Enjoy E-reader and many China iPad clones, are just with Android 1.5 or 1.6, that’s because this chip was only able to support these two low Android versions. Now it seems Rockchip has been already to launch a new chip or an upgrade of its RK2808, about which the company still hasn’t given any specified words. It recently shows a set of pictures of a prototype Android MID that runs Android 2.1. Excited news really, especially to those iPad clone makers.
