Phecda P7 7-inche tablet runs Android 2.1

Shenzhen manufacturer Phecda unveiled a new Android tablet P7. It features a 650MHz ARM11 based Telechips TCC8901 chip, a 7 inches 800×480 resistive touchscreen, 256MB ROM, and 4GB storage, a 1300mAh battery that could support around 4 hours working time, a USB port and a mini USB port. It is capable of displaying 1080p videos and coming with a HDMI port to let you output videos. The most attractive point is that it runs Android 2.1 OS. So far, except Huawei’s Smakit S7, all Android tablets from China just run Android 1.6. Phecda also promised that the Android 2.2 update would come in October. The price is still not disclose, but it’s said it would be less than 1000 Yuan (about $147 USD ).
