NPad is China’s first MeeGo powered tablet

China’s red flag software company yesterday showed off an MeeGo (Midinux 3.0) powered tablet called NPad on a software trade event in Dalian city. NPad is the first MeeGo tablet in China among the current Android tablet wave. It’s based on Intel’s Moorestown platform, bringing with a 10.1 inches touchscreen, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, GPS. there’s still no words about the storage. It’s said its battery could support up to 8 hours working time, which sounds very great. The device showed on the even is just a prototype, and it’s said it’s still not very smooth while being played at presence. The design is no doubt iPad-inspired. It will arrive at the market in third quarter this year, but the price is still not disclosed. The manufacturer only guaranteed it would cheaper than Apple’s iPad.
