Shenzhen Lianhua Electronics company showed a dirt cheap Android powered iPad clone, which is only priced around 500 Yuan (about $74 USD). With such a price you really shouldn’t expect too much from it. It features a 400MHZ VIA 8505 chip that’s based on ARM9, a 7-inch 800×480 display, 128MB RAM, 2GB flash storage, Android 1.7.2 OS. It gets a 30 pin port, and a 30 pin hub, on which there are two USB port and a Ethernet port that enables you connect to Internet through cable when Wi-Fi is not available.

This sounds a lot like the Eken m001 tablet. it runs, Android 1.6 and the build number is 1.7.2, There is/was no Android 1.7.2. If it’s running the very same kernel and OS, then it is indeed *cheap* not merely inexpensive.
