4FFF N618 ebook reader packs a Sipix panel, and a browser for web surfing
Shanghai Based company 4FFF brings a 6-inch ebook reader N618 to the market. It gets a 16 gray level 800×600 Sipix panel, a 400MHz Samsung 2416 ARM9 based processor, Linux 2.6.23 kernel based OS, 128MB RAM, 2GB NAND flash storage, and Wi-Fi connectivity, with a 4000mAh battery that could support 10,000 page turns or 15 days standby. It supports PDF, EPUB, RTF, HTML ebook formats. Besides display ebooks, it comes with a browser to allow you to surf the internet, thought viewing today’s web pages on such a gray display might be not very comfortable.
