Video: HTC Diamond2 clone T5353 gets Android and Windows Mobile dual boot

HTC Diamond2 is a very popular phone in China’s obscure market, and No doubt it’s also the love of knockoff phone makers. We’ve seen many its clones, and now in the risk of being boring, we are going to introduce another one to you. As the title has said, This clone named T5353 is a dual boot phone, running Android 1.6 and Windows Mobile6.5, which is definitely its biggest selling point. Besides, the phone gets seemingly very nice specs as a Shanzhai made phone, packing a 3.2 inches display, a 624MHZ marvell 310 processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, a 5 megapixels camera with auto focus, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 1650mAh battery. The price is 1230 Yuan (about $180 USD).

We have the T5353 available at Solonomi. As shown in the video above, you have to choose which system to start the device with every time you turn on the phone. When you turn on the phone, the touch screen is not active yet, so you have to use the volume button to choose which system to you want, the press the confirm button on the phone.

According to shanzhaiji http://www.shanzhaiji.cn/labs/20100514/17344.html the Android is useless and too slow. Still seems to have ROM issues.
Quote: ” Here also want to say, do not know if this rom problem, the signal is very poor, sim card from time to time, do not know when it will not service area of, wifi signal is very weak, but still the tf card will often find not, gps ”
But then you can always switch back to WM and use that

Nice Camera but I prefer the D5000. If you are new to SlR Cameras (like myself) or you are upgrading and you can fork up the cash, it is definitely worth it. It has a very concise, simple, and easy to use interface, the buttons are very well placed, and the swivel LCD is very nice and useful in most situations (I really like how it folds inwards to protect the screen). My main purpose for SLR cameras are still photos so the video is a nice touch and is surprisingly better than I originally thought (though if you are wanting to do serious HD video, I’d go for an HD camcorder or something else instead).
