Video: Great Wall GPad 7-inch tablet

Chinese manufacturer Great Wall today launched a 7-inche tablet at its ‘Touch G.Times’ product launch event in Beijing, with a name GPad. Along with this launching, the company unveiled its Great Wall Online store, an app store to bring software to its tablets. Simply inferring by the name, many might think this tablet was powered by Android OS. In fact GPad runs Windows CE, packing a 720Mhz Telechips 8910 (ARM11 based) chipset, 256MB RAM, 30GB flash storage, MicroSD card slot, 0.3 megapixels camera, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity, HDMI port, and a 1400mAh battery, with support to external 3G module. Gpad has a nice user interface and the touch is very responsive, which you can see in the following video. GPad will be available on May 1st in China, and the price is around 2000 Yuan (about $300USD).
