Shenzhen TESO iPad clone caught in video
One month after its first appearance, Shenzhen TESO’s iPad clone is back into our attention again, in a video showing its temptation. Words comes with this video says TESO is ready to ship it now. Seemingly the company’s actions are pretty in time, for the real iPad was just launched 4days ago. Shenzhai players are very good at taking advantage of the real products’ impact to sell their knockoff. However, TESO still hasn’t unveiled the price.
The full specs are out , and the main points stay the same as what we are told a month ago: a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a 10.1-inch 1024*600 capacitive touchscreen, 1GB DDR2, 32GB SATA, Windows 7 OS, GPS, 3G connectivity, a 3000mAh battery, 3 USB ports, and a VGA port for video output. It’s a pity that it has no camera.
This video first appeared on Chinese tech website zol.com.cn’s forum, giving us an opportunity to see how the device performs on web surfing, video displaying and picture browsing, and multi-touch support. Take a look!

I saw it in a market in Shenzhen, selling for 3999 yuan (about $580 USD). It was pretty nice looking, but I know no Chinese so the version of Windows 7 they have loaded looks pretty intimidating.

Looks good, but the price is still too high for a shanzhai device without valid windows and no warranty…

complete piece of garbage built for helping destroy environment.
Only kids will buy it and use it for awhile and dumb it aside bcos of countless of time wasted in maintenance on viruses and software malfunctions. We already have lots of electronic garbage poisoning out planet, now this company create more with pirated Microsoft windows 7 to create more for us. I could bet you this company don’t even pay Microsoft the licensing fee they suppose to to make this gadget.
