Cloned In China

we’ve seem quite a few Apple Air clones, but it seems this is the first one in this size. It’s from Shenzhen manufacturer E-stary. The bright black painting makes the white Apple logo looks pretty prominent and I bet it’s more eye-catching than the original ones when you hold one walking on streets. Of curse some people might not like to received sudden attention from others, especially from strangers, and E-stary gets a white version for these people too, on which the Apple logo won’t look so striking.

E-stary’s Apple Air clone gets a 11.6 inches 1366×768 display, a 1.66GHZ Intel Atom N450 processor, integrated GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB DDR2, 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 2 USB ports, with weight of 1.3kg. No specified price is given, but it’s said is around 2000 Yuan (about $300 USD ).
