Cloned In China

MDO became known to us when it launched its first Android powered phone S812 back in last September. Now its back with its send Android handset Avatar G580. The phone looks a little like a chinless HTC HERO. It’s very thin, only 10.7mm thick. It’s powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor, coming with a 3.2 inches 320×480 HVGA display, 256MB RAM, 256MB ROM, WI-FI, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB expansion. The phone gets no trackball, but has an old school direction button instead. MDO still haven’t told us when to ship this handset, but the price has unveiled. It would cost you 1900 Yuan to take one in China. Hey, not cheap at all.
