Eking is a Shenzhen based manufacturer. This company has finished a thorough clone of Korean manufacturer Viliv’s X70 tablet. As you have read from the title, this clone even doesn’t have an original name. They just called it Viliv X70, which might confuse some unwary consumers.

Eking’s Viliv X70 is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor. It is design for web surfing, but it runs on a full Window OS Windows 7. No multi-touch support, it just gets a 7 inches 1024×600 LCD, with stylus input support. It supports 3G radios, with three versions that support EVDO, WCDMA, and TD-SCDMA respectively. More over, it gets telephony function, but only for 3G networking. To make phone calls What you need to do is to install a software specified by Eking and plug a 3G-enable sim card.

Other specs include 1GB DDR2, 32GB SSD, Bluetooth and WI-FI connectivity, a 1.3 megapixels camera, and a 6200mA battery, with dimensions of 21×11.7×2.25cm, and weight of 660g . It’s said the working time is up to 5.5 hours. One thing you might never think of is that Eking’s Viliv X70 is more expensive than Viliv’s X70. It will cost you 6800 Yuan (about $1000 USD) to take one in China. Wow, a king of electronics!
