Shenzhen TESO is leading in the iPad clone contest

It’s within our expectation that iPad clones would appear in Shenzhen after Apple unveiled its iPad, but it’s a little out of our expectation that iPad clones come out this fast. No doubt many Shaizhan makers are working hard in their small plants to clone iPad, and in the current stage, Shenzhen manufacturer TESO is in the lead in this clone contest, being the first to show off their iPad clone. Maybe they still need sometime to pick a good name for it, and right now we still don’t know what this Pad clone is called. It runs Windows 7 OS, and supports multi-touch, packing a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a 10.1-inch 1024*600 capacitive touchscreen, 1GB DDR2, GPS, 3G connectivity, and a 3000mAh battery, with dimensions of 29×15×2cm, and weight of about 1.2kg. Price and availability are still not disclosed.

I want one!
March 2nd, 2010 at 7:42 am
Rather have that one then the frikken iPad… I think I can do more with that thing than the ‘closed’ Apple iPad.
My iPhone 3G was fun while it lasted, in my experience it’s over the hill and simply boring!

Ghehe, “iPad is going to be like a giant iPhone”….hmm…why not make a giant iPhone
@Hervé, totally agree, the software inviromend is way to closed. They need to let people develop apps for it without Apple removing them all te time.

where can i buy this thing?
March 2nd, 2010 at 4:22 pm
They came, they saw and good bye
Wouldn’t it be a great feeling for a business like Apple that you can design whatever you want and all others will look at it and start doing the same thing but only with half the brains!
I think there is nothing more cooler than having a business like that
I think an iPad clone will not work if you don’t have the apps for it.. it should be a fun fast browsing machine, a remote control, maybe your TO DO list at home. something small.
Don’t think like a Laptop or Desktop computer, what would you like to install on those machines?
Photoshop? games? and besides how heavy is Windows 7 on this little machine with only 1GB RAM? how could you hold it in one hand and type with the others?
So without iTunes and the AppStore an iPad-clone isn’t gonna work out.
@Hervé:
Your iPhone got simply boring?
What did you expect? Did you expected you bought a new friend?
It’s a phone you can call people with it and play music on it other handy stuff and easy to use.
But if you don’t have friends i can understand it’s useless the have an iPhone.. but don’t blame Apple for that! <– (joke)
And lets say for your self.. Some hate Apple, others love them! it will never change!
Just buy the stuff you like..

I agree with icebreaker, it looks more like an iPhone than iPad. Perhaps TESO did not want to clone the iPad but create a tablet iPhone, but in the process they created an iPad clone.. whew..

Wait, it looks like it’s upside down??? I don’t have an iphone but im pretty sure that the button goes down. What a fail clone. It does look kinda sexy though ^^ i mean the origional ipad

The IPad is so cool and very inexpensive everyone knows they want it don’t be jealous just cause you cant afford it!!!
March 3rd, 2010 at 4:28 pm
@BJ (What doe that stand for?)
My iPhone is to be very very honest a piece of very overhyped over the hill equipment. I CAN afford an iPad… but I dont see the advantages.
My next phone will be an android phone and a decent OPEN tablet!

If that thing runs windows 7, it simply means that I can run all PC software. So great knowing that on that only crappy 2 cents software runs iPad/iPhone. iBeer, iWhatever and iShit is certainly fun to show to friends at a party, but who would go to a party with a tablet in the pocket?? With a tablet shall come serious software and OS an right know the iPhone/iPad has none of it.

Directed to BJ:
If it runs Windows 7, then you can run any one of the thousands of programs created for windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, XP, and possibly Vista. Yes, that also means legacy games, office productivity software, and email clients such as Thunderbird. Additionally, you can probably still run Itunes, or buy your music from Amazon or any other site you like. THAT has always been the power of the PC. It is also why Apple lags in market share. Apple is innovative for certain, but tablet pc’s, netbooks, and even mobile internet tablets aren’t really new. The Ipad just applied what worked on previous devices into a larger device that they could overcharge for.
You should also consider that the tablets coming out now are 1st generation devices, which should mean something considering that it has taken Apple several generations to get-it-right with their devices. The Ipad too is a 1st generation device, so it will undergo several changes before it can viably compete. Apple has had several flops in their past, and while the Ipad is a nifty new device, it’s limitations are tied too closely with the apps that run on it. Thus, after the big craze, the Tablet PC wars will determine the future of future computing.
BTW – I can still control my TV, DVD, PS2, and any device I like with my pocket PC ( Dell Axim x51v ) which is out-dated. It also plays mp3s, games, movies, and I can still download a TON of free applications to run on it, and it predated the Iphone by YEARS. Pocket PC lost out Blackberry, and the Iphone was a response to the blackberry and other smartphones.
The upshot to the blackberry AND the Iphone is that they are devices and don’t rely on uber-complex software to run. That has always been the Achilles heel for Microsoft with the Pocket PC and any device. If Microsoft was smart and WANTED to be innovative – they would implement a version of their OS to hardware so that devices running the OS would run smoothly without having to “load” the OS into memory.
BTW – the Jumper JK01-TT is a nice Tablet pc with 2 Gigs of ram, HDMI, and it even comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I just wish they would get them out in stores for people to marvel over. I really want the Tablet wars to start so that we ( consumers ) can laugh at Ipad owners who can’t do basic things like uhmm – MULTITASKING. : )

Its amazing to me how many ways one might go about investing your money. I’ve found for me that best solution is both risky and low risk stocks. I usually put about half of my investments into low risk mutual funds that grow over time and the other half in high risk high gain stocks. I recently got into day trading and I discovered that software stock picks are the most reliable as they can automate a process that I cant do quickly enough. The guys over at stockmarketsoftwareblog.com have a great system. Be certain to check them out!

With Apple’s inventive new iPad bursting onto the scene over the last year, owners are in a position to access information more effectively than ever before. The device itself allows for the viewing of much more than music, as ebooks, magazines, and comics are a big part of what it has to offer. With that in mind, iPad owners are on the lookout for ways to quickly and efficiently add content to their devices. myPadmedia is an excellent resource for these types of downloads, and the site offers much more than that to its customers. With a full assortment of different offerings, myPadmedia is changing the way iPad owners do business.———http://www.freeipaddownload.net

Apple gadgets are the most OVERESTIMATED devices in the world! Apple sells a small bitten apple sticker nothing more! There are a lot of other brands giving more than apple in the half price.

A VPN is a secure network connection over the internet. This is usually used to connect two remote business sites to the same network. This is not used to connect individual computers, although I suppose it could. VPN’s are bought and licensed from your ISP. I think what you’re trying to do is create a LAN. Here are some step by step instructions.
