BYD shows off ViewSonic VTablet 101 as Alice at CeBIT (video)

BYD presented an Android powered tablet on its booth at CeBIT, with a name Alice. JKK from JKKmobile was able to get his hands on this tablet and made a hands-on video. From the video we could see easily this tablet was actually ViewSonic’s VTablet 101 that debuted back in January on an event in Beijing. So Alice might be its official name? Apparently BYD is just the OEM to assemble this device. Compared to the specs unveiled before, the information BYD published this time at CeBIT seems to have some slight changes. Besides the Android OS, it could also run on Windows CE, with 8.9 inches 1024×600 display, 8 GB or 16 GB flash storage. Other specs stay the same, a nVIDIA Tegra chipset, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, o.3M pixels camera, and PCIE interface to handle 3D graphics.
