we were very impressed when Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Pureness made its debut. But to some Shanzhai makers in Shenzhen, the transparent screen the Xperia Pureness gets is not as magical as we thought it should be. Recently a Xperia Pureness rip-off appeared in Shenzhen mobile phone market. This knockoff phone was called Somy X5, from Scny Eriosscn, a name we’ve never heard of before, but looks familiar to all the earth residents. Somy X5 looks almost the same as Xperia Pureness, packing a 2.2-inch transparent screen, dual sim, a camera with untold resolutions, Bluetooth connectivity, and FM radios. The price is unbelievably cheap. It sells for 550 Yuan (about $80 USD ) in China.
