Baidu B618 720p PMP boats a dual core CPU

The first thing to be cleared is that this ‘Baidu’ has no relations to the biggest Chinese search engine Baidu. It refers to Baidu Digital, a Chinese portable media player manufacturer based in Guangzhou. B618 is a new portable media player from this company. The most surprising thing is that it boasts a dual core CPU, which makes me quite confused. If the dual core CPU thing is true, I don’t know what it is for. It seems that Baidu B618 is just another ordinary portable media player.
It supports 720p videos and 720p videos ouput, and supports numerous codecs, like H.264 (High Profile /Main Profile), Real 8/9/10, WMV7/8/9, MPEG1/2/4, DivX3/4/5, Xvid, H.263, compatible to RM, RMVB, AVI, MKV, WMV, MP4, 3GP, MPG, MPEG video formats and MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC audio formats. This PMP will come to the market in a few days, but there’s still no information about the price.
