Sungworld to launch 7-inch ARM-based Android MID

Sungworld ever surprised the world with a 7-inch extremely cheap netbook which is only priced at $73 last year. Now, at the beginning of the new year 2010, the company is going to bring an ARM-based MID with Apple style user interface to the market. We still don’t know what Sungworld names this device, but some specs were unveiled. This MID is based on ARM926 platform, and runs Android OS, bringing a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen, 512MB RAM, 2GB SSD, Wi-Fi connectivity. It boasts 1080p video support, and a HDMI port is also packed to output videos. Well, Is this the next ‘Sungworld’ surprise? Time may give you the answer soon. News from shanzhaiben.com said this MID would arrive in the market in the end of this month, and, of curse, with a very competitive price. But from our experience these manufacturers are seldom punctual about their product releases, so let’s just wait with not too much expection.
