ONN V10 does 1080p video
ONN just released a new portable media player V10, which comes with a 5-inch 800×480 touchscreen. It boasts 1080p support, and supports numerous codecs, including H.264, MPEG, Real, VC-1, compatible to MKV, TS, MOV, MP4, AVI, RM, RMVB, FLV video formats. A HDMI port is essential for a HD portable media player, and, of course, ONN V10 gets one for you to output your videos. Besides, it gets USB OTG technology for data transferring. It’s said this PMP has reached the market, but we saw no words about the price.

also no words about used CPU and no words about battery life length
to compare 5″ and 7″ SmartQ V5/V7 devices, their battery life is very different, while hardware the same.
i guess, ideal PMP would be cross between A81/W1060 device (strong Cortex CPU) with SmartQ 7/V7 (hardware buttons, linux-friendly and SmartDevices themselves makes software updates still) plus PixelQi screen (use as e-book outdoors and low-power web surfing w/o backlight) plus RCU (to use as music player).
If only there was such and costed $200-$300
