In China mobile phone market, Nokia definitely is the most successful brand. Nokia phones, especially those priced between $140 and $220,  are damn popular to the young people in this country. For them, Nokia is a brand they can gets best mobile phone deals from with a budget they can offer and reasonable for their economic situation. Of curse, the geeks in China love iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android Phones, and laugh at the brick shape that Nokia phones get that in their opinions has stayed unchanged for a million years. However, they are not the majority in China.

Well, I’ve gone too far, so let’s back to our topic. The website of China Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center exposed two Nokia new phones X6M and 5800W. These two phones has got the approval to sell in China, and may arrive in Chinese Spring Festival holiday that will begin on Feb 14.

From the information unveiled, we can’t find much new on these two new phones, compared to their previous version, the Nokia X6 and the Nokia 5800XM. The ‘M’ in X6M is no way to stand for ‘ multi-touch’ as some people might  have expected. Its features stay almost the same as X6. But unfortunately it gets the WCDMA/HSDPA support removed, and was reduced to a 2.5G phone that only works with GSM/GPRS/EDGE. Due to the regulations in China, The Nokia 5800 version that’s launched in China lacks 3G support and Wi-Fi. Now these two important features were added to 5800W. 5800W supports WCDMA/HSDPA, and WPAI, which is a China standard that is compatible to Wi-Fi. No words about the price yet.

Hello there Jason here. I was hoping to get some advice from you about one of your last blog posts. I found you after searching for BlackBerry deals because there was a deal going and I wanted to know if it was still available. How can you tell if old blog posts are still there or not if you can’t find them. Thanks.
