Luxury villa built on the sea
Nowadays it’s normal that we hear some extremely rich people buy a small island and build a luxury villa on it. But this villa we’re talking about is not built on a small island. It was built on the sea, floating like a huge boat with an area of several thousand square meters, and was fastened to the huge rocks on the beach. It sounds like someone has built a small island out of the sea. This villa even contains a horse race track.

It was found on a sea bay off the Shenzhen coast. Of curse it doesn’t appear overnight. According to the local fishers, it has been there for five years and its area has been expanding all the time. At usual, only some workers live on it. Its host will come in weekend and having parties with friends.The locals call this villa ” Hai shang Huang Gong”, which means ” a Palace built on the sea”.
It’s said the host is sued currently by a local government department that manages the fishery, for the usage of that sea area the building taking up is unlicensed.
