Hanvon N618 ebook reader hits the market

Today Hanvon company launched its N618 ebook reader to the market in China. This e-reader belongs to the WISEreader line, which was showed off on the CES a few days ago. It features a 6-inch Vizplex e-paper display, WI-FI connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB port. It gets 320MB onboard storage, which is definitely not enough for an e-reader, but it’s also shipped with a 4GB SD card, and its SD slot can supports up to 16GB storage. It comes with handwriting recognition, and allow you to make notes on the TXT ebooks. It can display TXT, HTXT, HTML, PDF, DOC, XLS ebooks, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIF pictures. It’s also capable to play MP3, WAV, WMA audios. This e-reader sells at 3380 Yuan (about $497 USD) in China. Well, we have to say, it’s expensive.
