In China Palm is not as famous as brands like Apple, Nokia, and Sony Ericsson. Even to those who are tracking down the newest handsets in the industry, few of them knows the company gets a Chinese name, which is pronounced ‘benmai’. So we’re seldom to see Palm Knockoff phones. However, Palm Pre’s stylish design is definitely adored by many people, even if they don’t know there’s a company called Palm on the world. The popularity of this phone definitely won’t be ignored by the Shanzhai makers. Now these evil Shanzhai makers fininally put their dirty hands on this nice handset, and bring a clone called Cool K07. Cool K07 is based on a MTK chip, and is a nonsmartphone. It features a 2.8-inch display, a 2-megapixel camera, dual sim, WI-FI connectivity, Java 2.0, and Analog TV. It supports GSM quadband, and 13 languages.

    HI,
I own this phone and it’s not for the non-computer savvy. I am quite savvy and I needed some help with this phone. It is not intuitive whatsoever. You have to press lot’s of stuff to get where u wanna go, but it’s not a bad NONsmartphone. It’s quite nice. Plus it looks so much like the Palm pre, which I love. It’s nifty and so fun. It has an antenna. CrazY I know! But if you need a phone, a touchscreen, and know a thing or two about how this phone operates…Get it! It’s cheap and certainly fun to use if u don’t have data package and want a palm pre on sprint or tmobile. I like this phone more and more the more I figure out about it. lol. THe touchscreen is mediocre and the key pad is too small. The keys are bunched up hard to press and tiny tiny..did i mention they’re tiny! But there are some cool feature u can use to avoid the keypad when texting. You can draw the letter or number and it will read it! That’s way cool! So if u get a deal on it, I did 70 bucks, then just do it! You won’t regret it. I get a new Droid incredible in a couple months, But I’m still having fun with my PALM COOL K07

I’ve had my Pre due to the fact shortly following launch and am glad to locate (by means of this forum) that I can now set a ring tone on incoming text messages and can look for through e-mails and this kind of. Now is there any hope for an upcoming launch where I can lookup my calendar? Would make my occupation significantly much easier, finding dates of final appointments. No other complaints, except that yesterday I used to be in and out of Sprint support (not unusual). I believe I was roaming, and looked at my calendar. Almost everything inside calendar was a single hour earlier than what I had input. The clock was 1 hour early as nicely. I was afraid to death–then, when we got back into Sprint program once again, every little thing was normalized. Has this happened to everyone else?? Hunting forward to answers, but please bear in mind, I’m no techie and speak English in lieu of technospeak.
