BYD to sell electric cars in USA

BYD CEO Wang Chuanfu says on the Detroit Auto Show that BYD is going to launch its electric cars to the USA market in the second half of this year. According to what he said, BYD will focus on developing electric cars, and the USA market is very important to the company.
Reported by netease, electric E6 will be the first car BYD to bring to USA. The price would be slightly higher than 40,000 dollars. The company is also planning to export its plug-in hybrid F6DM to USA in 2011, and sells at a price of less than 30,000 dollars.
