Yet another Lego Mindstorms Rubik’s Cube Solver

One and a half year before, the cool guy Hans Andersson has built a Rubik’s Cube solving robot called Tilted Twister that is based on the Lego Mindstorms kit. Here another cool guy called Dynamic Old Boy (translated literally from Chinese to English) brings us another Rubik’s Cube solving robot which is also based on a Lego Mindstorms kit. Dynamic Old Boy honestly admitted the design of his robot was inspired by Hans Andersson’s work. Though he is not the first one to make this kind of robot, but I still think he is pretty cool. This robot can solve the Rubik’s Cube in 3 to 5 minutes with 25 moves at average. The maker also has written a very detailed tutorial, by which you can follow step by step to built your own Rubik’s Cube Solving robot, but it’s a little pity that the tutorial is Chinese.

help those balls return home to the matching coloured dome on the outside of the outermost sphere, by releasing them through a hole
in each of the inner spheres rubiks cube. You’ll have to use your wits as the two inner
spheres are weighted, pitting the forces of gravity against you rubike sale, and then you’
ve got to be skilful as you lock and release the balls in place via one of two spherical dials on the outer sphere.
