VIA MID runs on Windows XP and Android simultaneously
An anonymous person dropped several pictures of this VIA MID to an editor on Engadget’s Chinese edition site through personal Email address, but was stingy to provide more other information. Words from this mystery person say this VIA MID can have Windows XP and Android run on it simultaneously, and is powered by a 500Mhz VIA processor. The device is not an ordinary MID, but coming with telephony and messaging functions. From the pictures , we could find dial icon and message box icon on the Android UI. It’s very possible that one has to switch to Android OS in order to use the telephony and messaging functions. So, XpPhone, you gets another rival, but don’t worry too much, this rival might not able to do everything you do with the Windows XP.
