Video: iPhone clone Aphone A6 runs on Android
We’ve seem countless iPhone clones, but this one, named as Aphone A6, definitely is the coolest one. I guess there must be some Android fans admire iPhone’s beautiful user interface with round corner icons secretly in their heart. Aphone A6 is designed for them. It’s a iPhone knockoff, but it goes a way that no other iPhone knockoff has gone before that it has Android OS to drive those round corner icons it successfully stole from iPhone. Aphone A6 runs on Android 1.5, and supports multi-touch. The little button under the display is the wonderful trackball It boasts to have a dual-core processor with a frequency more than 300Mhz, a 3.5 inches capacitive touchscreen, 130MB RAM, 256MB flash storage, 2 megapixels camera, Bluetooth2.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity. The people on Chinese website k3bbs.com have fortunately got a prototype to review and made a review video, from which we could see that the phone is still unfinished, and the touch on the screen is not very responsive.

To summarize; if you are upgrading from the 3G you will be amazed, if you are upgrading from the 3GS you will be happy but it won’t change your world.

Display is incredible, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s very fast and with the new iOS4 it makes organizing and using my apps better than ever.
