Colorful S101 NewYork surprises us with a useless G-sensor
It may be hard to imagine that ” Colorful S101 NewYork” is a name of a netbook. We really think ”colorful S101 Shenzhen” would be a more proper name for it. In fact this netbook that gets a “NewYork” in its name comes from a Shenzhen based company Seethru. Well, at least Seethru gets the ‘S101′ right. The “Colorful S101 NewYork” does look similar to Asus’ EeePC S101. Another special thing on this netbook is that it gets a G-sensor. Nobody want to tilted his netbook on its side to use it, Which is unconvenient and will cause damage to the computer’s hard drive, so this feature is completely useless. Other than the the great name and the G-sensor, Colorful S101 NewYork gets a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom N270 processor, a 10.1” 1024×600 LED-backlit, 1G RAM, 160G HDD, 1.3 megapixels webcam, Wi-Fi, 3 USB port. The price is 2180 Yuan (about $320 USD).

I ordered it on-line on 6/9 and they preserve telling me it should ship this Wednesday 6/30. Fingers crossed that it does this waiting is killing me!
