Toshiba launched CULV laptops Portege T110 and T130 in Taiwan
Toshiba launched tow Intel CULV platform based notebooks Portege T110 and T130 in Taiwan on October 15. These two notebooks will be shipped with Windows 7 OS, and will be available in the market at the end of this month.
Portege T110 is powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium SU2700 processor, packing Intel GS40 chipset, 11.1 inches 1366 × 768 LED-backlit, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, 0.3 megapixels webcam, 6-cell 5600mAh battery with 9 hours battery life, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, measuring 286×211x24-34mm and weighing 1.5Kg, with red and black colors to be chosen. Recommended retail price is NT$26,800 (about USD$815).
Portege T130 is powered by a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium SU2700 processor or a a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium dual-core SU4100 processor, depending on the configurations, bringing Intel GS40 chipset, 13 inches 1366 × 768 LED-backlit, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB or 320GB HDD for choice, 0.3 megapixels webcam, 6-cell 5600mAh battery with 9 hours battery life, Windows 7 Home Premium OS, measuring 323×223x22-34mm and weighing 1.7Kg, with red, white and black colors to for choice. Recommended retail price is NT$28,800 (USD$876) or NT$31,800 (USD$968), depending on what configuration you choose.

The Kindle 2 is super. Amazon did a great job. It has alot of features that I enjoy. No, more shoping at your local book store trying to find a book, it is all there in my hand. The text to speech feature is great while driving in my car, I love those books you can’t set down.
