Sigo to join the 1080p club with two new PMP S40 and S50
It seems the 1080p-capable portable media player market has become red sea for Chinese PMP manufactures. Many of them has claimed to bring their full HD PMP to the market, though till now only Chuwi P7 is the real thing that is available in the market. Sigo, another PMP manufacturers from China, is going to join this this group with announcing two new PMPs S40 and S60, which both supports 1080p video playback and 1080p HDMI output.S40 gets a 4.3-inch display , while S60 gets a 5-inch one. The codecs these two PMPs supports include H.264, VC-1, MPEG2-TS, MPEG4, XviD/DivX, Real 8\9\10, and the supported video formats include MKV, TS, MPG, AVI, VOB, RMVB, FLV. The price and the time of availability are still not disclosed.
