Runwei A500 ebook gets a TFT-LCD, not e-paper display

Runwei launched a new ebook called A500 recently. Runwei A500 gets a 5-inch 800*480 TFT-LCD touchscreen,  not a e-paper display we saw on other ebooks available in the market. The TFT-LCD it has must be not as good as a e-paper display for reading, but it also has WI-FI connectivity for your Internet surfing, so it seems that Runwei A500 is more of a MID than an ebook. it’s powered by a 500MHZ Telechips TTC7901 processor, bring ing 64MB RAM, 2GB Nnand Flash storage, supported file formats including TXT, PDF, HTML, DOC, XLS, PPT, ZIP, PNG, JPG, BMP,GIF. The price is 1880 Yuan (about $276 ).

Runwei A500 is more to an MID or maybe a UMPC although the company call it as a netbook. Come with a 5″ TFT LCD touchscreen display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution, A500is powered by a 500MHZ Telechips TTC7901 processor, 64MB of RAM and 2GB NAND flash storage.
