Video: Chuwi P7 5-inch 1080p full HD PMP hands-on
It seems the shenzhen based Chuwi Tech is very likely to be the first to bring 1080p enable portable media player to the market. Chuwi P7 gets a 5-inch 800×480 display, supporting 1080p video playback, as well as 1080p HDMI output, and its codecs including H.264, VC-1, MPEG2-TS, MPEG4, XviD, DivX, Real . The specified storage is unrevealed. We’ve heard reports about several Chinese PMP manufactures are going to launch their 1080p full HD portable media player, but by far Chuwi P7 is the only one we are able to see the real thing. The people on pconline.com.cn have got a prototype to review. In the following video they tried different 1080p videos of different formats with different bitrates, and it seems it works alright.
