September 29th, 2009 | 7 Comments | Posted in Laptop

Is it possible VAIC become the biggest name in the Chinese Shanzhai netbook brands, like Nokla in the Shanzhai phone market? It’s still too early to say yes or no, but we can see that it has the potential, based on the fact that Sony VAIO TT is expensive, but VAIC TT isn’t. As the name says, VAIC TT is a Sony VAIO TT clone. Though there is still no word about the price yet, according the Chinese Shanzhai netbook market situation, the price should be about 2000 Yuan( about $294 ), even less. The VAIC TT has a 12.1-inch 1366×768 display, a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of ROM, 1.3 megapixel webcam, WI-FI, Bluetooth (optional), 3G module (optional), a 6-cell 4400mAh LI-Ion battery, with dimensions of 302X216X31mm and weight of 1.6kg.
