The Pierre Cardin PC-729 is, as the title says, from Shenzhen Vogue Industries Co., Ltd. You may think the brand name Pierre Cardin on this device was fake, but that’s not true. The usage of Pierre Cardin on their electronic products has been got authorized by its holder Pierre Cardin (more). So we can’t call Pierre Cardin PC-729 knockoffs, right? Pierre Cardin PC-729, powered by 1.2G VIA C7 -M 772 Esther processors, based on VIA VX700 chipset, features a 7.0″ 800×480 TFT LCD, 1G DDR2 RAM, 16G SSD hard disk, 3 USB ports, Wi-Fi, stylus input, a webcam, Windows XP OS. It comes with a LI-ion battery, 3000MAH of capacity, which gets up to 2.5 hours working time. It weighs 691g, measures 19.9cmx12.7×2.1cm, with pink and light black colors to be chosen. The price is 2980 Yuan ($438), with an addition of 235 Yuan for a Windows XP licence.

    Hey,

    I feel you make jokes without checking issue in details. As far as i know Pierre Cardin sold rights to use his brand name to those nice people. Not only for UMPC but GPS. In fact i know personally a guy doing it. It is sad what i see here. Lack of knowledge.
