CZC C9 is alleged to be the world’s thinnest netbook

ShenZhen Zichuang Technology company has launched an extremely thin netbook CZC C9. Believed or not, The netbook is claimed to be only 0.5cm thick and titled as the world’s thinest netbook. Well, it’s very light too, only weighing 0.75kg. CZC C9 features a ARM11 based CPU, 8.9 inch 1024*600 display, 1G RAM, 8G flash storage, 2 usb ports, an AVG port, a Li-ion battery with 6-9 hours working time. It runs a customized linux OS, which has Apple style UI. The price is 1499 Yuan( about $220 ).

    China nowadays have been producing quality products from netbooks to cellphones to televisions. 220USD is not bad price for the World’s thinnest netbook!

    Most of the products circulating in the market today is made from china. I wonder where they sell this thing? My 4-year old niece is asking me for a netbook. I guess this is a good option to buy.

    What I like about this laptop is that it’s very light, but it already contains 1 GB RAM. Very compact. You can bring it anywhere. I wonder how many colors they manufactured for this.

    Based on the price, this is much more affordable than the latest iPad. But based on the features, iPad will beat this one.

    @tom: I guess this shouldn’t be compared to the iPad. They have a big difference. I guess they are not on equal footing. :)
