“Spokesman” Obama and A Blackberry storm 9500 Clone

June 18th, 2009 | 29 Comments | Posted in Mobile

We all know Obama uses Blackberry phone, and right now the China shanzhai phone maker haff-comm is using this information to promote their new shanzhai phone blockberry 9500 and has Obama’s figure appeared in this phone’s poster with a slogan ” Obama have Blackberry, I have blockberry”. sounds pretty funny, but we don’t know whether Obama have got paid as the “spokesman”.Probably not, after all blockberry has a little difference with Blackberry. Based on Huawei K3, Blockberry 9500 runs windows Mobile 6.1, with a 460MHZ proccessor, and features a 3.2 inch touchscreen, WIFI and bluetooth connectivity,Sirf III GPS navigation and supports 3G and EDGE network.

I like chinese phones and the fact that they clone. Now, if they would just innovate and expose it to a global market so that I can partake in it. By the way, when would this phone be available to the world?

I can’t understand why you guys think shanzhai cell phones are valueless.I like shanzhai products, they all have a special siprit.
Althoungh shanzhai prouducts don’t always have a high quality, it has already formed a culture for them. In addition, shanzhai is not equal to copycat, so can I ask you to try to understand shanzhai in a different way?
