Huawei, Haier showed their Android phone on CommunicAsia
On the CommunicAsia 2009,the two China manufactures displayed their new up-coming android phone,Huawei with U8230 and Haier with H7. U8230 will hit the market in the second half this year and it equipped with a 3.5-inch LCD touch screen, and uses Google Chrome Internet browser with various google applications such as Google Map, Google Search and Google Talk sported, and allows user to switch between full and half QWERTY keyboards.The China consumers must be very happy with Huawei’s new Android handset. Because with the help of Huawei’s K3 reference solution, China Shanzhai phone makers have launched several nice one thousand Yuan windows mobile smartphone. Will Huawei help China shanzhai makers go into the Android phone market? It’s hard to tell now.
Haier H7 is supposed to release in september this year, firstly available in France for $150 with a contract probably, but what Hairer display on the CommunicAsia is only a non-funtional mock-up.This phone resembles HTC G1 at look, and features a 2.8-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, FM radio, GPS and a 2-megapixel camera.
