Cheap China clone electric car only for $141
You may think I am joking, because $141 seems more like a price of an electric bicycle. But you know I am talking about China. In China, anything could happen. The are lots of clone electric cars, and the price is between $3000 and $440. though not allowed by the traffic government department, due to its safety problem, these clone electric cars sell well in China’s rural district.
How cheap Could China clone electric car be? Today I did a survey on the price of China clone electric car. I searched electric car on taobao.com, the biggest auction and shopping website in China and there are 29 car model listed under the search term 0 to $440. and the cheapest one is only for $141.
This car only for $141 on taobao.com
on the information page of this car, it said this car could run a highest speech at 65 kilo meters per hour and could run 100-150 kilo meters per charge.
Sounds ridiculous ! but as I said before, anything could happen in China.

I agree that electric cars are what everyone are and should be after especially at these prices but are these new cars really beneficial towards the environment when the amount of fossil fuels are used are taken into account.

Awesome post, very good points.
